This past season we had 4 DL slots after having a season under our belts and seeing the amount of players going on the DL with the new rule I think it would be beneficial for us to go up to 5 DL slots. In real life teams have unlimited number of DL slots there is no limit. This will also help teams insure they reach the innings requirement if they have a lot of pitchers on the DL.
What are your thoughts on moving to 5?

I would support moving to 5 or maybe 6.

I'm not sure the maximum Yahoo allows but I would go with that. Like you said in real life it is unlimited and that amount of players on DL nowadays is outrageous. I know there were multiple teams with 8 or 9 players on the DL at a time.

Currently Yahoo only allows up to 5 which is why I would prefer we keep it at the maximum Yahoo allows.

With the 10 day DL I think increasing to 5 would be helpful.

I definitely agree with this a lot of teams including myself had to shuffle their team around due to all the DL stints.

The more DL spots we have, the better.

How about expanding the ML roster by one or maybe two since Yahoo only allows 5 DL spots. This way people can move players from the ML here in PBs while adding and dropping them in Yahoo. You figure you have to pay the salary of a DL players anyways so why not have that salary as part of the ML. Just an idea.

I think 5 DL slots is plenty, but I'm open to expanding further if other owners have concerns about that number.

Like Chris said 5 is plenty, I want to keep things on Yahoo clean so it doesn't get confusing who's on the DL and not on the DL

Might be easier for us to see what we can and can't do on Yahoo before suggesting anything

I'm on board with increasing to 5 DL. I personally dont think having a ton of DL slots is good for the competition. I think if we are limited it would/should spark more trading opportunities. It could really benefit the struggling teams later in the year to go get some guys that are maybe out for the year etc. looking ahead for their future and contributors selling out to clear space on the roster and add something/anything to help the push, but I understand the grind of being completely injury riddled so I like increasing to 5, but I also believe that as the league progresses our UMR will be utilized more and more to help fill these voids caused by injury.

We definitely need more DL. If the max Yahoo will let us have, make it so. I know in one league I am in I had 13 of my players on the DL at the same time. It was a very tough year, and the new 10 day DL makes it easy for the real teams to rest their players. More DL, please.
