Please vote to pass or decline new arbitration formula.
I have outlined the possible costs for this new proposal for greater understanding of what's changing. I have also posted the old formula and the possible costs in case you haven't seen these yet. When the original formula was created it was for a $120 cap. We bumped our cap up to $130 so this proposal is in line with that $10 increase and it simplifies the process.
New Proposal:
1-25 previous season’s salary X 600%
1st yr arb Sal = 3
2nd yr arb Sal = between 6 & 18 depending on previous season arb
26-50 previous season’s salary X 500%
1st yr arb Sal = 2.5
2nd yr arb Sal = between 5 & 15 depending on previous season arb
51-100 previous season’s salary X 400%
1st yr arb Sal = 2
2nd yr arb Sal = between 4 & 12
101-200 previous season’s salary X 300%
1st yr arb Sal = 1.5
2nd yr arb Sal = between 3 & 9 depending on previous season arb
200+ previous season’s salary X 200%
1st yr arb Sal = 1
2nd season arb Sal = between 2 & 6 depending on previous season arb
Current Arbitration Rules:
1-25 previous season’s salary X 600%
1st yr arb Sal = 3
2nd yr arb Sal = between 4.5 & 18 depending on previous season arb
26-50 previous season’s salary X 480%
1st yr arb sal = 2.4
2nd yr arb Sal = between 3.6 & 14.4 depending on previous season arb
51-100 previous season’s salary X 350%
1st yr arb sal = 1.75
2nd yr arb Sal = between 2.63 & 10.5 depending on previous seasons arb.
101-200 previous season’s salary X 200%
1st yr arb Sal = 1
2nd yr arb Sal = between 1.5 & 6 depending on previous season arb.
200+ previous season’s salary X 150%
1st yr arb sal = .75
2nd yr arb Sal = between 1.13 & 4.5 depending on previous season arb.
