2021- 2022 League Calendar

[Oakland Athletics]

September 28th 12:00 AM EST - New season begins, Contracts decrement by one year. Each team has a fresh set of Club-options. FA, UFA, ARB, QO decisions can be made. 2023 Draft picks available. Promotions/Demotions activated. Minor League Drops activated.

September 28th - December 31st - This will be a break period. Player decisions can be make. Watch some football and enjoy the holidays. 

October 12th 12:00 PM EST Trades are officially open.

December 25th, 11:59 PM EST - Deadline for FA, UFA, ARB, QO decisions. Players without contracts file for Free Agency. Players that have surpassed limits must be promoted to proper roster.

January 2nd, 12:00 PM EST - Free Agency Begins, Buyout Open, MLB Waivers Open

February 26th, 8:00 AM EST - Rookie Draft begins. Low Minors have to be cleared before the draft begins.

(Unknown) - Immediately after the Rookie Draft, All eligible players not rostered are placed on waivers for 24 hours.

March 31st - First MLB Regular Season Game. Our fantasy scoring starts on this day. All rosters must have 25 man roster headed into this day.

(Unknown) 11:59 PM EST - Trade deadline. Any trades posted after this date do not take effect until after the close of the season.

August 31st 11:59 PM EST - MLB Waivers will close. Any players posted after this deadline will be deleted.

(Unknown) - Last day of the fantasy regular season.

(Unknown) - Fantasy Playoffs Begin.

(Unknown)  - Free Agency Closes. No more auctions may be started. Existing auctions run to conclusion. Buyouts Close. Minor League Transactions close.

(Unknown) - League Champion is crowned

With there being a chance of a lock out at the end of today will any of the schedule be revised to reflect this or will we just keep moving forward?

I don’t see any need to back up our schedule. We still need to be ready if the season starts on time. if anything we could back our free agency up a month, but it doesn’t sound like the lockout will have even ended by then so it may just be best to proceed as normal.

All good I was just asking to make sure. I am good with the league continuing on during the lock out.
