This needs to be sorted out. 1st off, Scott was drafted in the 1st round this year by CIN. But was told he was already owned by ARI, so CIN re-picked (check the 1st round thread). So I'm assuming everyone else followed suit assuming he was already owned. No way Scott makes it through our entire draft unselected!! 2nd thing, the prospect waivers have not even been posted yet. So we can't be adding minor league adds yet since we don't even know who is available still. After a little research myself I can't determine who owns him now or if he's owned at all. It looks like ARI did own him at some point, but said he dropped him in the following thread. Actually, I think that Arizona has traded him if that's why you can't find him.

So first I will admit to being terrible as far as keeping up with things over here this offseason, and for that I apologize; I think without having draft picks I just let things slip, but I did not read the draft commentary prior to making this add. I simply saw that the draft had concluded days ago and our history with milb waivers has been the 24 claim period starts as soon as the draft finishes which would make everyone fair game by now. So I simply searched Scott's name through proboards and I too could only find the history that arizona was getting rid of him so I just quickly placed the add. All that being said I have no problem with whatever we deem necessary here. We can chat with Josh and come up with a solution and he can remain a FA until we decide!
