Right so that could cover weeks 1-20 and then 21,22 & 23 your division. Would that work? Playoffs start week 22. There are 5 teams in a division. So the problem is which team plays which? The problem is that the division winners get an advantage that shoulden't be there

I see so week 20 & 21 is where we play teams that are 1 & 2 on our schedule again, unless those weeks are multi matchups within the division, not sure it can be done but would balace everything ass each team played 4 games in week 20 & 4 games in week 21 strictly against their division, drama building

The problem is that the division winners get an advantage that shoulden't be there It's still based on overall win and loss record, so a division winner is not guaranteed a top seed. They just are in the playoffs, which to me in most cases make sense because in a good active league divisions are not easy to win.

In just under a month only 95 players left to go!

Like BAL said they make the playoffs and I would be very surprised if any division winner makes over a team with a better record then them.

It would be way too hard to place matchups. If you edit the last week to play divisional matchups you will then have to go back and edit the entire season to even out the matches.
So say you change my last week to play the White Sox. Yahoo has me playing them in week 3. So you will have to go to week 3 and change the matchup to me to play let's say the Nationals that week. Then you will have to go to the Nationals team that they were playing originally and give them a new team. Oh and then you have to find when I was originally scheduled to play the Nationals and change that out again. It would be a entire mess.
And who would be the team that is left out? That wouldn't be fair.
They could try to change the schedule of the 2 teams that you play twice to have those teams in your division. I would rather play a division rival twice a season.

Yahoo's current setup has us playing our week 1 & 2 teams again in weeks 20 & 21, with 22 starting the playoffs and 26 we do nothing. 1 option could be to push the playoffs back a week and finish on week 26 I know a lot of people don't like that. I for one have no issue with it because it kills me when there are games going on and my team isn't playing another might be just cancel out those two games switch them to division rivals as we as a doubleheader say week 21 where you play two division rivals. That way you would play everyone once and your division rivals twice

Playing the last week is terrible. I wouldn't vote for it. Too many key players sit the last week and that would be the championship week.

Our season ends week 24. Week 25 is the last possible week. All star week merges 2 weeks into 1. And yes last week Championship are terrible with so many players sitting

What if we then split the All star week into two and then just changed those 2 weeks to allow the rest of the games to be played so we could have played everyone once and division teams twice. As for last week I know people have issues with it, so I'm not pushing it I just hate to give up the season early, even with players sitting it's a game or two at the most not the whole week like football

I don't think Yahoo even lets you do All Star week into one week. And there would be no way the pitching minimums would be met and Yahoo wouldn't let us get rid of that rule for one week.

Yeah you can't move into 1 week. I could be wrong but I think you can change the setting for minimum innings. But that's neither here nor there.

Well I don't think you can change the minimum innings to be different for each week.
