I agree to this deal. I wanted to clear some salary to pursue free agents I would like to acquire as well as gain a draft pick to rebuild my MiLB roster. I think Zimmerman will be a serviceable addition to my rotation after losing a couple of guys from last season. I also had a crowded 1B situation, so I needed to move one of the guys.

The Orioles agree to this trade. I made the move because I need a First Baseman and as a whole my team last season struggled from a power aspect. I feel Cabrera is a good investment for only one season and I feel he can perform a little better than last year. Zimmerman bombed last year and is mostly a salary evening move for me so I am not taking on all of Miggy's salary. I hated to lose Carson Fulmer, but I feel to get Miggy it's worth the trade.
