The Giants agree to trade:
Migual Andujar - 3B - NYY (prospect) Carson Fulmer - SP - CHW (prospect) Jacob Faria - SP - TB 2 years @ $0.50 Jesus Sanchez - OF - TB (prospect) 2019 3rd Round pick (SF)
to the White Sox for:
Austin Meadows - OF - PIT (prospect) Javier Baez - 2B/SS - CHC 3 years @ $9.40
Goal was to get Meadows and I knew it was going to hurt. Best prospect in this deal by far imo with highest upside. Deal got expanded to include Baez who I also like quite a bit with his position versatility, reasonable 3-year contract and his youth that fits in to my prospect laiden roster. Andujar and Sanchez were tough top 100 prospects to give up, but were necessary in order to get those talented players back. A bit of the shine has wore off Fulmer, but I'm probably selling him higher than I would anywhere else to a White Sox fan. Faria is a young talented pitcher, but I've got some depth there with other young talented pitchers on the roster and waiting in the wings, so I felt comfortable dealing from that position of strength. CHW twisted my arm to add the pick, which is a year away and I'm loaded up to my eyeballs with 2018 picks so I think I can spare it, and have time to recoup a pick or two between now and the 2019 draft.

In my eyes Jesus Sanchez and Austin Meadows are pretty much equal with Sanchez being the younger of the two I was glad I could pick him up. Then I believe I am trading Baez for Andujar, Fulmer, Faria, and a 3rd round pick and I think that is pretty good value for him. Now I have more money opened up to fill pitching needs and to add a power hitter. Next year I also have a lot of holes to fill so it is nice to free up some money to spend
Please place Fulmer, Andujar, and Sanchez on my MILB roster
Place Faria on my MLB roster
