Moneyball Dynasty League
Moneyball Introduction
Welcome to Moneyball Dynasty League! Moneyball is first and foremost proud to host and sponsor a competitive experience for die-hard baseball fans that love the game in the purest sense of the word. It was created for people who love fantasy baseball and would love nothing more than to put their knowledge of the game and skill to the ultimate test. Moneyball’s meaning of dynasty refers to the ability of each GM to keep their team’s roster fully intact year after year while maintaining an intense goal of winning a championship. Moneyball will provide a means for competing where the mastery of several elements is essential for success. Those elements include salary cap management, daily roster maintenance, trading and prospecting. The requirements are that a GM: (a) exhibit a high level of sportsmanship by respecting all GMs participating in Moneyball Dynasty League; (b) respect the decisions of the Commissioners(c) remain extremely active throughout the year while giving your best effort to compete and improve your franchise.
Moneyball is a 20 team dynasty league with some unique set of rules. This league is based upon and inspired by two different leagues, Franchise Dynasty League and the GM Club. Those two leagues are extremely competitive, unique, and full of great fun. This league will strive to be as successful as those two leagues.
Every team will select a real life MLB team name as their team name. Members may chose their team as they are accepted into the league as long as the team name has not already been taken. After the league is full the Initial MiLB Draft will start first and then the Initial Auction Draft will start.
Members are expected to check weekly to the ProBoards site for any new information, trade discussion/approval, new business, etc. The more participation and site visits lead to a healthy league and cohesive ownership group that is on the same page. All owners are encouraged to visit on a daily basis, answer all email and private message (PM’s) traffic.
