The Cubs have been after 3B K. Seager for months now and we tried several different combinations along the way.       Once Noah won the rights to 3B E. Suarez these discussions became more much intense.     We have made it clear we have extra cash in 2018 so taking on the contracts of K. Seager and B. Crawford was not an issue though the extra cash received was a nice gesture on Noah's part.    As for what we gave up, we were dealing from our surplus of young upside players/prospects.     Noah wanted a little something something to cover the two arms he will be losing next off season, hence why we included W. Benson and the 3rd rd pick.      Good luck Noah while you retool for a run in 2018.   

Bryan will concur with this agreement when he has time.

Yes, I agree to this trade also. I am banking on Jorge Polanco's break out second half. Seager is a great third baseman, but I'm deep there and this helps multiple areas of my team both now and for the future.

We agree to this trade. When we seen Noah win the bid on Saurez we reached out to him for Seager. It took a few PM's to get this finalized and we threw in some missing pieces to get this worked out. We get a quality 3B and SS that can hopefully go back to his 2016 form.
