1 year @ $2.61 Conditionally send Reynaldo Lopez to high minors You can not change roster moves once it has been announced previously so KC wins but Adam Lind will be dropped

Not worth arguing over Lind, but that's not what the rule says.

Not worth arguing over Lind, but that's not what the rule says. 37 - once a manager has stated which player they intend to drop if they win the auction they may not switch to a different player as the bids progress. If a manager joins the bidding on a second auction and declares there that he will drop the same player as in the first, then he will not be able to go back in on the original auction in which he was involved if he has the current highest bid in the second auction, as it would not be possible to win two auctions while only dropping one player.

To finish rule 37:
"To clarify; it is possible for a manager to be involved in multiple auctions after having declared the same player as the stated drop in those auctions, provided that that manager only has the current highest bid in one of those auctions at any given time."
As written, this rule very clearly references that a manager can not have the same conditional drop on 2 different leading bids. That makes perfect sense. If you wanted to extend that to not allow someone to switch their conditional drop once they've placed a bid that's fine too so people aren't trying to game the system. But the bid stopped progressing as soon as it was beaten by another bid, CWS bidding 2 @ $1.00 in this case. Following CWS' bid, a new bid was placed and with it new conditions such as duration, salary, and conditions.
Again, this isn't a fight to the death sorta thing here, I mean in this case it's just Adam Lind so I really don't care lol. But if this is truly what the rule is in this league, then rule 37 needs to be re-written to reflect the actual rule.

This phrase seems to be the one you have a problem with. "as the bids progress" The first part is clear, I'm open to suggestions for more concise and clear wording on the ending.

How about: "for the duration of the auction"
Not saying I even agree with the rule (though not the dumbest rule I've seen from my new leagues this week), but this phrasing would at least accomplish what you're trying to do.

That works for me, I'll adjust the wording now.

Awesome.
On a related note, do I need to make a separate thread for the Lind drop?

No you don't need to if you announced it in the auction
