Not too worried about it right now but more so next off season. By chance will the league allow teams to keep injured players on the DL at the max allowed during the season? For example we can carry up to four DL players in season so will the league allow a carry over into the off season? Maybe even two would be nice. As we all know a few P's come down with TJS or player has a serious injury that will carry over to 2018.
Thoughts??

I'm open to discussion on this, but as the rules stand...
2 - each team has 25 spots on their active roster and a salary cap of $130 to fill those spots. A team need not spend the maximum when assembling its roster. All teams must have 25 players on their active roster going into the first H2H match-up. Teams can run with less than 25 players on their active roster throughout the course of the season.
So I don't see anything wrong with having over 25 players in the offseason as long as you are at 25 players going into the first head to head matchup. Granted the first season the setup is designed to where there is almost no way possible you will have over 25 players in the offseason.

I like the idea of having more than 25 MLB players on a roster as long as that team can stay below budget. If we can use the DL and stash 4 mor players then we would have deeper rosters. Then you figure the MILB portion will increase the depth of our organizations with the low minors as well.

The problem with having over 25 players going into the season is we have 25 man rosters and players don't hit the DL until opening day

Yes that's correct. Don't quote me but I believe the DL goes away like 5-7 days after the completion of the WS. This is when the real life 40 man rosters are set, the DL is cleared, the preparation of the R5 starts and so on. Like you said, I believe the DL starts a few days before Opening Day. I know some leagues allow the stashing of DL players to allow teams the chance to have more flexibility on their MLB rosters to allow for trades or the promotion of prospects. Thanks Josh, I figured I would get this idea started and see what people think about it.

By chance have you and Gray made a decision on teams carrying players on the DL during the off season?
Also, when must teams promote or move their prospects to MLB of the Upper Minors rosters?

Like I said before teams can carry up to 29 in the offseason (30, if we move DL to 5) But teams must be at 25 players going into first matchup.
Players need to be promoted sooner than later, but really before Free Agency or else they will be subject to getting auctioned.
