Bryan and I have been searching for a 1B for our team's future and hopefully E. Hosmer is that guy. We're hoping Hosmer settles in the next two seasons in SD and produces like he did in KC. We believe we can afford to trade Rutherford and the draft pick while Hudson hurts a bit but of course you have to give in order to get. I suppose we're doing some forward thinking here with our farm system because we need to promote our 5 lower minor prospects into our MILB roster so we can back fill our upcoming draft picks.
Bryan will be on later to officially accept the trade.
