Orioles agree to this trade. Looking for a solid 1B and while Hosmer had a down year, I hope he does a little better this season. Like Shaw and Kelly, but I am hoping that I have improved my team by doing this trade.

We like the chance of gaining two MLB hitters instead of one with the above trade. Now granted Hosmer is a starting 1B, we're hoping that sometime in 2019 Kelly settles in as the starting C for ARI while Shaw gets ABs at 1B or LF in SF. Another plus to the trade is gaining the extra cash on our budget by not including any cash in the trade to offset Hosmer's contract. Thanks for the trade Tony and good luck in 2019.

Bryan is recovering from hanging out with Fat Amy last night so sometime today he'll accept the trade.
