A couple of recent injuries have me looking for a position player Sabathia's return from the IL provided a surplus from which to deal.

Thanks KC I had intended to post the trade and poll last night but unforeseen circumstances prevented that thanks Josh for adding the poll since it's now there I won't need to do that.

Indians trade Nick Ahmed 1 yr at .50
to the
Mets for CC Sabathia 1 yr at .50
I have Lindor returning shortly, and am short on pitching, Alex Cobb second 10 day dl trip, I added Edison Volquez 1 start on the 60 day dl, Sonny Gray day to day, my lack of innings this week contributed to kc's 12-0 win as I fell 10 innings short of any points(your welcome. Plus Ahmed playing only short made him the expendable one.

I might be wrong here so allow me to apologize upfront but I thought we were not allowed to trade off season FAs until later. I looked at the rules and could not find the exact date but I thought it was like May 1. My reason for posting my comment is because CC was signed by the Mets on Feb 23. Could someone please verify this for me? Thanks in advance.
