Cleveland Indians trade
JP Crawford SS SEA (rookie contract)
to the
Chicago Cubs for
Brett Anderson SP OAK 1 yr .50
and
Antonio Senzatela SP COL (rookie contract)
I dealt a future asset in Crawford for 2 current assets, in Anderson who I can use now as well as Senzatela who I can use now and in the future. My pitching problems are beginning to improve with this and the Sabathia deal. Good doing business with the Windy city duo, good luck this year guys |

The Cubs accept.
Our thinking was to flip two current in season upside guys for a future piece.
This trade may go nowhere with either team but we both figure it's a good gamble.
In time we'll see the results.
Bryan will be later to concur.
