I wanted to make an apology to the entire league. I apologize for the way I introduced incentives. It was not the right way to do things for this league and I recognize I made a mistake. It was my fault and not our other 2 league officials so please recognize that. When me and Gray (Pittsburgh) created this league our intentions was to have some sort of incentives. It was not added to the original rules that I sent out to everyone and for that reason the incentives should have been introduced to the league for discussion and voted upon.
The incentives had little to do with scoring type. I was simply stating that there would be incentives for winning each category meaning that winning as much categories as possible does still matter. Scoring type was voted on when it didn't have to be. It came down to a tie and the league officials came to a decision. If we decide the other way, some people would have been disappointed all the same especially since the league was advertised as H2H One Win.
Again I am very sorry for the way I handled Incentives. Now I will tell you Gray and I created this league with the best intentions. We are not here to make anyone mad or intentionally try to jeopardize the integrity of the league. Both of us are fantasy baseball junkies. We love nothing more than having a league that is ultra competitive with a lot of roster moves, trade discussion, and activity. All we ever strive to do is create the absolute best league possible. I can speak for me and Gray both on this, we believe some of these minor details are not what makes these leagues fun. Fantasy baseball to me can be fun in so many different ways. Everyone has their own personal views the same way we value players differently. All owners are just not going to agree on every single thing in this league. Especially with the size of this league. I strongly encourage discussion and I want to hear your different thoughts and opinions believe me when I say that, but please do so in a calm manner. Please do not criticize or attack the League Officials or any of the other owners for that matter. This will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with Me or Gray then please address us privately. Me and Gray worked really hard putting this league together and Alex (CHW) agreed to take on responsibility and has done an excellent job helping me and Gray work through things. Like I said above we want this league to be awesome and would never do anything intentionally to jeopardize this league from being full of outstanding competitiveness and fun.
Our 3 biggest requirements
The requirements are that a GM: (a) exhibit a high level of sportsmanship by respecting all GMs participating in Moneyball Dynasty League; (b) respect the decisions of the Commissioners(c) remain extremely active throughout the year while giving your best effort to compete and improve your franchise.
Okay now lets have an excellent draft! I am pumped to get this thing started!
