I have a question about placing a player or players on waivers and how many times an individual player may be placed.
Looking at rule 56, option 3 it states: -- The team that posted the player on waivers can simply elect to keep the player on their roster and no longer can post this player on waivers.
and rule 58 states: -- One other note: A player may only be placed on waivers 3 times during a season.
So my question is how many times can an individual player be placed on waivers in season? Any input is greatly appreciated.

This is a great question and thank for bringing this to our attention as it could potentially need a little more clarity.
You may not place the player on waiver again IF the player is “claimed” and you opt to “pull back” the player from waivers.
If the player goes “unclaimed” on Waivers you can post a player on waiver up to 3 times throughout the course of a season.

Thanks for the response. I figured this season we might participate in waivers so I read up on the rules. I saw the two rules and scratched my head for a moment and figured I would ask out loud in case others had a question. This makes sense to me now.
