I think Garver is for real. One of the best hitting C. He is signed through 2022.
I am trading a very good SS prospect but I still have lots of depth at the position. D'arnaud is good but I am assuming I am selling high here. I am not sure Collins will hit enough to be a starter.
So I am giving up a significant package but that's for getting my starting C in return.

This trade is about 2021 for me. As I get a possible SS of the future and hope Collins ends up hitting, by 2021 we should know more about him. D Arnaud is basically a season and a half stopgap to tandem with Sisco.
