There was some chatter about adding DL slots so I wanted to post this so people can discuss.
I personally don’t think adding IL slots is a good idea. I believe our free agent pool is already very thin as it is and it would only get worse if we increase IL slots. Also Yahoo only allows 5 IL slots I believe. I really like to keep things clean by having yahoo and the spreadsheet match. The spreadsheet and yahoo could get complicated if we had 6 or more IL slots and yahoo only has 5. One other thing is MLB is going back to a 15 day IL instead of 10 day so you may see less teams abusing that.
You’ve heard how I feel but I will always listen so go ahead and let’s here from everyone.

I had more then 5 injuries and tried to fill those spots as best I could by adding players but when those players get hurt then your stuck you drop them your paying twice. If Yahoo is an issue then maybe we can move them somewhere that it appears on the spreadsheet and doesn't effect Yahoo. Like with our minor league players, I put Lonnie Chisenhall on the 60 day I can drop him in Yahoo and add a player but on my spreadsheet he still shows on my team. It basically would be just spreadsheet work.

With the MLB already pushing to go back to the 10 Day DL, I feel it would be redundant to increase IL spots right now.

In another league we're able to demote 60 day IL guys to the minors, seems like a decent compromise position.

Well it might seem redundant but when you get hit with players going out for the season in week 1 it certainly makes it tougher to compete. I like both the ideas by KC & Cleve.
