I demoted Justus Sheffield, pending my trade. It doesn’t look like the trade has been processed yet because Philly hasn’t dropped to clear space on their minor league roster, but Sheffield demotion was made in mind of it being processed by now to pursue Davies.

I thought the Sheffield demotion was to make room for Smith. You should still need a corresponding roster move for Davies
