The Giants have agreed to trade:

Deivi Garcia - SP - prospect
Matthew Liberatore - SP - prospect
Domingo German - SP - $0.50/1 + ARB
Elehuris Montero - 3B - prospect

To the Cardinals for

Mike Soroka - SP - $0.50/2 + ARB

I agree. Price for adding SP has been astronomical in free agency. Adding a young cheap controllable arm seemed like a good idea, even at the cost of all of these specs.

Soroka is tough to lose, but my team will fare no better with or without him, and the prospects are what I need to make sure this team has a better future.
