This poll is to see if we will put a limit on the number of club options can be used per year.
Below are some the details we discused about this. These details are the same regardless of which choice you choose except obviously the amount of players you can sign with a club option.
Details:
*Club Options must be announced when bidding by placing a "+" after the years.
*If a club option is accepted then the player returns to the team for another season at his existing salary. He will then become an unrestricted free agent in the following offseason.
*If a club option is declined then the player enters into free agency that offseason and the team is not rewarded a compensation pick if it is a top 50 player.
*You may trade for any number of players with a club option. If you trade a player with a club-option you do NOT gain the ability to add another club-option to a player.
*You strictly have the ability to sign 2 players with a club option per year regardless of any trades
*Option years do NOT count towards total contract value. Oakland bids first 2 years @ $2.75 = $5.50-Total Contract Value Pittsburgh bids second 2 years + @ $2.75 = $5.50-Total Contract Value (This bid would be invalid, There must be the minimum increase in total contract value.)
Please simply vote and I would prefer that you keep your comments to yourself as we have already had our discussion about this.
Majority Vote Wins.
Thanks,
Josh
