As you all are aware there has been a recent vetoed trade.
A few things I wanted to address with this situation. First off we all play in these leagues because we want to have fun. It can be very competitive and that is great but at the end of the day we are here to have fun.
I don’t want to see anymore criticizing of the trade committee. They have a tough thankless job and so far I think they have done a great job.
The committee going forward absolutely does need to give an explanation of why they vetoed a trade as that is imperative for owners understanding of how they can rework the trade if they desire.
There does not need to be any backlash on the committee and there should also not be any backlash towards owners if the trade is reworked.
If a trade is vetoed simply accept it and move on and try to rework the trade.
One thing everyone needs to keep in mind is their own roster management. When placing bids you have to have enough open slots or post a corresponding roster move at the time the bid is placed. You absolutely can’t rely on a trade to be processed quickly so you have an open roster space. We all have lives including the committee and sometimes trades may require more thought when it comes to approving or vetoing a trade.
