My pitching is starting to come together and I wanted to add some rental bats to help push for an outside chance at a playoff berth. If by the time the deadline rolls around and I’m not looking good for a playoff spot I can always trade away Donaldson/Cruz at that point. Cabrera walks a bit too many for my liking and has been struggling with health, explosive arm but kind of skeptical about it all coming together for him.

Agree. Once again looking towards the future and I like Cabrera’s arm and hope he can find some consistency. Donaldson and Cruz are rentals and think both are on the decline especially Cruz.
