The Yankess send Franklyn Kilome & Brandon Rodgers to the nation's capitol for Bo Bichette & Triston McKenzie. Good doing business with you Wash You need to have a poll included in this and again you need to give a brief explanation of why this trade makes sense for you.

Ok, I need your help posting the poll, but as for the players, I like the prospects I'm getting better than the prospects I'm giving up

This trade made sense for me because I needed more offensive potential for my future while my pitching at the major league level I think is pretty solid for the next several years. McKenzie and Bichette were actually the two guys I was most excited to draft in the entire draft - I personally think there is a very good chance that McKenzie is better than Rodgers. After all, he was a 1st round pick in the same draft as Rodgers and has dominated at every stop in the league so far. Bichette is a guy that exploded into the league after being drafted last year and has the family pedigree to be great. Baseball America ranked him as their top power-hitting non-college prospect debut. At the end of the day though I think Rodgers does improve my team at an area of need, so I decided to accept the offer.

Can I speak in this trade? I could care less about the Yankees wnanting different specs. He has the right to do it, and who knows if McKenzie will turn out to be a GOD. But the most important thing is that Rodgers has a LOT more trade value that this. A LOT. He could get a better return from most anyone in the league, I would imagine. iF these types of lopsided trades go through, this league will fail quickly, and we need to set a precedent. Yankees, you are being cheated.

I'll add my note here since Atlanta felt the need to comment here...
I personally don't veto unless there is bad intent or collusion. I've done that ever since my league veto'd a trade years ago of Chone Figgins (back when he was a top-40 AL only player) for a prospect because we all felt it was unbalanced. Turns out it was unbalanced but not in the way we thought because the prospect was Mike Trout and we all had it completely wrong (This was when he was in like A ball). There's probably a 75% chance not a single player in this deal will be more than replacement value. Be careful setting a precedent of telling owners you know more about their players than they do, because the league will also fail in that case, just as the one I referenced in my brief story.

I dont think that Rodgers is any better than McKenzie. Well, I do, but it does not matter. I want to say that he could have gotten a better return from most anyone in the league. The TRADE VALUE of rodgers is higher than this. I hate vetoes as much as the next guy. But many a league have been torn through trades like this.

So what you said just a few posts up is that McKenzie is a considered a top ~65 prospect across the industry. Is a trade with a difference of 50 spots in prospect valuation really going to tear apart the league? Is it grounds for a veto? We all know that prospects are a crapshoot. Look at Dom Brown and Jurickson Profar (no disrespect LAA!) who were both number one overall at one point. I just don't see how this trade is going to do grave damage to the league as you seem to suggest.

It doesn't make sense logically. Sure, Yankees had another owner pick Rodgers for him, but he had 5 rounds opportunity to pick these players that he valued as much as a consensus top top prospect
