Starling Marte

Oakland Athletics trade:
Randy Vasquez
Benny Montgomery
Jacob Degrom
$4.75 for 2024

Marte has been struggling but hopeful he will turn it around the 2nd half of the season and provide me with some depth. Vasquez and Benny are nice players but I’m trying so win now. Sad story with Degrom maybe he comes back like Verlander did and wins a Cy young, but I’m glad to free up an IL spot and get out of his contract.
