I look at it as being confident in the team I drafted. I don't see why anybody would be unconfident in their chances of winning their division before the season even starts. I really don't care who is in my division, I plan on beating them.

If you don't care, can I have the cubs, who have said they are rebuilding, in my division?
Edit: you guys don't seem to care, so that is my preferred division mate

I'm going to play whoever is in my division and am more than likely going to beat them. Maybe what Braves is hinting at is that it is unfair for teams to be put in a division against the Angels without it being a random draw.

So let me get this straight. You are saying that people will not be biased in deciding their division if they are going to get with a team not competitive for the next 2 years? No wonder Chicago white sox want regional division.

Having Mixed Leagues/Divisions (Option B)
Division 1 Division 2 ATL LAA MIA OAK WAS SF TEX SEA PIT COL
Division 3 Division 4 STL BAL CHC BOS CHW NYM CLE NYY ARZ TOR
This is what my vote would be. Same thing LAA had but ARZ and PIT swapped because ARZ is closer to the central then the east.

No wonder Chicago white sox want regional division. No idea who has the best team right now. Some teams have 19 or 20 players left to fill, I am not going to look at their team. It is strictly based on location of the team. Most of the leagues I am in with real team names has done it this way or AL/NL straight up.
I just think it is cool to mix up AL and NL because it is something different that most leagues wouldn't do. CHC/CWS is a huge rivalry so to be able to bring that to the fantasy world would be cool. I live in STL and as a CWS fan it would be kinda cool to play them. I don't care who has who on their team or who looks best on paper with 8 players on their team.

I'm kind of confused how you don't get that lol

I made them as close to regionally accurate as I could without looking at who is even on teams. I don't really see how you have an argument about stacking teams based on players when they are based on regions. If you mixed leagues of course CHC and CHW would be in the same division seeing as how they are in the same city (don't see how you can get more regionally close than that).
Somebody is going to be unhappy no matter how the teams are aligned. I was just throwing out an idea that I thought would be a cool way of aligning divisions.

Yahoo does not let you pick and choose the playoff matchups. That is why we had to get rid of divisions in Hannes' league. They simply match up by playoff seed. Seed 1 will play seed 8 and so on. Yahoo will not let you have a true NLCS match-up. Yahoo does not let you edit the matchups anymore. I can't remember if they let you have the division winner have the top seed or not.

Hey guys, we can argue our points all day but in the end it'll be put up to a vote and the league will decide.

No, I am upset. Nobody would be upset with randomization, cause it's random
