I think you should just do a random schedule to determine who plays who.

Ok what divisions do....4 Division winners make the playoffs and then there are 4 wild card teams no matter what division or league they are in. If we chose Question 2. option B which seems to be the popular choice and definitely what I think is best, then playoff seeding would be determined by overall record. Winning the division would be a ticket to the playoffs, but it does not guarantee you a high seed. Yes there would be no NLCS or ALCS in the playoffs. There are divisions in baseball which is why i think having divisions would be cool. It gives one little incentive to win the division and make the playoffs and as we've stated divisions definitely create rivalries which i believe promotes more healthy competition.
As for schedules everyone would play each team once and you would play 2 teams twice. It would be randomized by Yahoo. There is no other way to do the schedules so that is not up for any kind of discussion. Every team needs to play everyone at least once.

That sounds good to me. Now, should we do regional divisions based of AL/NL or just regional divisions with no regards to AL/NL?

I like it too, I think we should do Mixed Regional.

I geuss I didn't officially vote / respond...
1. How do we divide up our 4 divisions? You don't, do two divisions split by NL/AL like old pennant system. Otherwise, split NL/AL and try to group them by real life divisions.
2. Playoff Seeding Options A (If we have more than two divisions), C (If we do two divisions split by NL/AL).
3. Playoff Tiebreaker B (Best Regular Season H2H Record)

We've only heard from 10 people on this matter. And half of that 10 said nothing about 2 or 3. Please respond on this matter.

I think I told you what I favored, but here goes I favor a Mixed Regional division alignment. Then option B having division winners make playoffs, but seeded by record, it's the fairest thing to do in my opinion. Then finally option B for breaking tie breakers.

I personally like this format, however as far as the divisions, put the teams in the same divisions as in MLB. If there are more teams in one division than the other, try to take away the one that is geographically closer to the division needing more teams.

This discussion is over. It never really caught on. A decision needs to be made. We will stick with the divisions set by Yahoo. For playoff seeding options division winners will advance but seeding will go by overall standings. For the Playoff tiebreaker we will go by the best regular season record vs opponent wins.
